What Is Online Personal Training?
Online Personal Training is a new and exciting way of delivering coaching. Online Personal Training allows coach and client to collaborate over the internet enabling you to get access to expert coaching regardless of your geographical location and at a fraction of the cost of one-to-one Personal Training.
Who Is Online Personal Training Suitable For?
Online Personal Training is a great option for beginner and intermediate trainee’s that either cannot afford the costs associated with one-to-one personal training, or that are otherwise unable to work with a PT due to their physical location. Being self-motivated and confident working out alone is a must.
Do I Need To Be A Member Of A Gym?
Yes. Resistance training is the most effective mode of exercise for both burning fat and building muscle. As such, all of my programs are designed to be performed in the gym. If you have access to limited weight training equipment (barbells, dumbbells, benches and a rack) at home, this will also suffice but it will reduce the amount of variety in your workouts.
How Does Online Personal Training Work
After your initial consultation, I will send you an in-depth online questionnaire to ascertain your training history, current fitness levels and diet. Using the information I will then design you a bespoke training and nutrition plan for you to follow. Each week we will review your progress, make adjustments to your program and provide you with feedback on how you can improve in the coming week.
What Kind Of Results Can I Expect?
Results vary and it’s impossible to quantify exactly how much progress you will make over the time we train together. The rate at which your progress will depend upon a variety of factors, most notably; your starting weight, the number of training sessions you perform per week and your level of adherence to your diet.
How Is Progress Measured?
Progress is measured using a variety of different metrics. Changes in body composition (fat loss, muscle gain) are measured using scale weight and photographs which are sent to your coach weekly for review. Performance in the gym is logged in your program every workout using the My PT Hub App which is reviewed every week as well.
