Working with a personal trainer is a process.

It’s about moving from where you are now in your health and fitness journey to where you want to be—by following a clear plan and making steady, sustainable progress over time.

That process starts with three essential steps:

  1. Consultation: Your initial consultation is a chance to meet with your trainer, discuss your goals, needs, and expectations, and learn how personal training can support you. You’ll leave the session with a clear understanding of what’s involved and whether it’s the right fit for you.
  2. Client Onboarding: Once you’ve decided to move forward, the onboarding process ensures you’re fully prepared for success. You’ll receive everything you need to get started—including access to relevant tools, resources, and your welcome pack—and you’ll schedule your initial assessment.
  3. Physiological Assessment: Your fitness journey starts with an assessment where we’ll measure your weight, body composition and heart health. We’ll also conduct a functional movement screen. This is used to identify any movement issues, create a bespoke training program, and prevent injuries.

After the assessment, you’ll receive your bespoke training programme and nutrition plan.

From there, if you’re feeling ready and confident, you can dive straight into your programme with full support and accountability. If you’d prefer to ease into things, you’re welcome to begin with a practice week instead. Whichever option suits you best, your personal trainer will be by your side every step of the way to support you.
